Here is one lovely radish, with its bright purple skin that makes this one of the most colorful variety. 1½” globes have sweet, crisp, white flesh that does not get pithy.

Sow seeds outdoors as soon as soil can be worked in Spring, about four weeks before last frost. Plant in full sun and keep soil lightly moist until germination. Radishes do well with consistently moist soil and organic matter added to soil. But they do need good draining soil.

Succession plantings can be made every 3-4 weeks throughout Summer and Fall to provide a continual harvest.
