Collection: Backyard Grocery Store
New to gardening, this collection is what I recommend.
Here are a few of my favorites and easiest food to grow starting out. Backyard grocery store can be achieved with a little planning and a whole lot of effort but well worth the wonderful fresh tasting harvest you will be rewarded with. It takes time, trials and errors and before long you become better at the gardening task and achieved great results over time. I choose not to use any chemicals on my grounds or plants, so I am constantly dealing with bugs that love my plants as much as I do. So I grow way more than what I need and it seems every growing season those pesky buggers left a few of my plants alone so I do receive a good harvest. You can use Diatomaceous Earth (food grade) and Neem Oil that has proven to be much safer than harsh chemicals and achieves good results in fighting off the bad insects. Know that when you garden you really are sharing your beautifully planned garden with all kinds of critters that will love on your plants and make you nuts BUT hang in there, over time it will get better and you will learn how to deal with the bugs, rain, heat, no rain, too much rain, more bugs, frogs, wondering through cats, more heat and the list goes on and on. I love my frogs and they are so beneficial to a garden plus they say to have frogs is a sign of healthy grounds. But its not that much fun when they want to burrow in the dirt and unearth your seedlings. So you plant more seeds. 🍅🥕🌽🌶🍉
